What is a car service?

Is a car service the same as an MOT?

No, it’s not. Many motorists think they don’t need to get their car serviced because it’s just passed its MOT, but in reality, the routine service and MOTs are different and it’s important to undertake both.

Here at RCP service centre in Thame, we have the latest diagnostic equipment and fully trained technicians to diagnose any faults. We diagnose and service all ranges of cars such as BMWs, Mercedes, Range Rovers, Volkswagens, Renault, Fords, and Vauxhalls. You name it, and we’ll service it! We can also service and maintain your vehicle whilst it’s still under its manufacturer's warranty. We will use genuine parts for your service and therefore will not invalidate your warranty.

We offer a whole range of servicing options from an Interim oil change service to a Full vehicle service and check over, covering all areas of essential maintenance for your vehicle.
